The sandwich is fast food including one or more types of food placed on or between slices of bread. The sandwich is mostly square and triangular in shape. The sandwich is mostly used for breakfast, picnic, Flight catering, drinks, and many others. There are many varieties of sandwiches. That all varieties consist of three types of preparation and they are Plain sandwich, Toasted sandwich, and Grilled sandwich. Today I will help you to make sandwiches easily by using the below sandwich recipe.


  1. Plain sandwich

In these types of sandwiches, we can find many varieties of sandwiches like a Cheese sandwich, a Vegetable sandwich, a Chicken sandwich, a Mayonnaise sandwich, and many others. These are made mainly without making bread hot.


  1. Veg Sandwich Recipe

 Ingredients

  1. 2 slices of bread

  2. ⅓ medium cabbage

  3. Onion in slice minimum 4 slices

  4. Boiled potato ( as a choice)

  5. ¼  cucumber

  6. 1 tomato ( size according to your choice)

  7. Butter / Ghee

  8. Black pepper ( as a choice) 

  9. Chat Masala

  10. Tomato Ketchup

  11. Lettuce leaves

  12. Capsicum ( as a choice)

  13. Cheese slice/cheese


Home method

  1. Cut the vegetables, cucumber, tomato,  potato, cabbage, capsicum in the slice in a round shape, and keep aside.

  2. Take 2 slices of bread and apply butter/ghee on each bread and evenly spread it.

  3. Add tomato ketchup evenly and spread on both slices of bread.

  4. Place the tear lettuce leaves on the bread and also keep all slices of vegetables which recently cut.

  5. Sprinkle the chat masala / black pepper on slices.

  6. Place the cheese above the slices of vegetables.

  7. Keep the other bread by applying butter/ghee on the top.

  8. Ready to serve.


B.  Chicken sandwich Recipe

Ingredients

  1. 1 plate chicken (shredded)

  2. ½  tablespoon Black pepper powder

  3. 1 leaf- Lettuce

  4. 4 pieces Sandwich bread ( as a choice but you can use 2 pieces of bread only)

  5. 1 tsp salt

  6. 3 tablespoon Mayonnaise

  7.  Toothpicks ( as a choice)

  8. Fined chopped onion (as a choice) - medium size




Home Method

  1. At the first boil, the chicken with water with a pinch of salt and chicken shredded will be ready.

  2. Take a bowl, keep the shredded chicken in it.

  3. Put 3tbs mayonnaise, 1tsp salt, ½  tablespoon black pepper powder, finely chopped onion in the same shredded chicken bowl, and mix all properly.

  4. Spread that mixture evenly on bread and close with bread.

  5. Ready to serve


C. Mayonnaise Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients


  1. Chopped Capsicum ¼ cup

  2. Chopped Carrots ¼ cup

  3. Chopped Cabbage ½ cup

  4. Chopped Tomato ¼ cup

  5. Chopped Cucumber ¼ cup

  6. Salt ½ tsp to taste

  7. Crushed Black pepper ¾ tsp

  8. White Pepper Powder ½ tsp

  9. Mayonnaise 4 tablespoon

  10. Sandwich Bread 2 slice (without crust/corner) and Chicken Shredded/Chicken keema ( as a choice for chicken lover)

Home method

  1. Take a bowl to keep all chopped Capsicum, Carrots, Cabbage, Tomato, Cucumber. ( can keep chicken shredded/chicken keema for chicken lover)

  2. Sprinkle them with Salt, Black Pepper Powder, White Pepper Powder.

  3. Mix them all properly with mayonnaise and after it spread on bread properly and close with bread.

  4. Now ready to serve.




2) Toasted Sandwich 

In these types of sandwiches, bread is mostly toasted. Toasted sandwiches are tastier than plain sandwiches. Its recipe is listed below:



Ingredients

  1. Bread Slices- 6 pieces ( as a choice)

  2. Tomato-2

  3. Onion-1 

  4. Green Chilli-2

  5. Salt-1 tsp

  6. Red Chili Powder- ½ tsp

  7. Ghee for toast

Chicken Keema / Chicken shredded ( as a choice for chicken lover)


Home method

  1. Chopped tomato, onion, green chili, and coriander leaves finely. Now add 1 tsp salt, red chili powder ½  tsp on it and mix them properly. ( for chicken lovers you can mix chicken keema/chicken shredded).

  2. Now take the bread slice and spread that recently made with a mixture of vegetables. Keep that mixture evenly on bread.

  3. Take an Iron Tawa (pan), keep on fire, and keep 1 tablespoon ghee on it. Then toast that bread on each side for one minute by applying ghee in proper ways. After becoming brown take out from the pan and ready to serve.


3) Grilled Sandwich

These types of sandwiches are also tasty. Its recipe is listed below


Ingredients

  1. Bread Slices 4

  2. 1 tablespoon Vinegar

  3. 200 grams Boneless chicken

  4. ½  chopped Red capsicum

  5. 1 chopped green capsicum

  6. ½ tsp salt

  7. 1 tsp red chili powder

  8. ½ chopped yellow capsicum

  9. ½ chopped orange capsicum

  10.  Onion 1 (medium size) chopped

  11. ½  Black pepper powder

  12. 1 tsp Cumin powder

  13. 1 tsp Coriander powder

  14. 1 tsp Paprika powder

  15.  1 tablespoon Oil

  16.  ½ tsp Garlic powder

  17.  ¼ oregano

  18.  1 tablespoon Chili sauce

  19.  1 tablespoon Soya sauce

  20.  4 tablespoon Ketchup

  21.  1 Cup Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese

  22.  Boiled egg slice/Fried egg slice ( as a choice for egg lover)


Method

  1. Take a pan, add oil and heat it and Chicken boneless then fry chicken for five minutes on medium flame.

  2. Add Red Chili Powder, Salt, Black Pepper Powder, Cumin Powder, Paprika Powder, Coriander Powder Oregano, Garlic Powder, Soya sauce, Vinegar, Chili sauce and stir it well.

  3. Then add Red Capsicum, Orange capsicum, Green Capsicum, Yellow Capsicum, and stir it well then, cook it on a medium flame for 2 minutes with a stir.

  4. Add Ketchup,  stir it, then turn off the flame. Now chicken fajita is ready.

  5. Take a bread slice, put chicken fajita which we made recently and sprinkle Grated Mozzarella and Cheddar, then place a second bread slice. In this way make it with other bread slices. ( For egg lover you can keep the slice of Fried/Boiled egg above the chicken fajita)

  6. Take a grill pan, preheat it, and brush with butter then place these sandwiches and cook it medium to low flame for each side for 2 minutes.

  7. After this, you can cut it in a triangle shape and ready to eat.


By using these methods you can make a sandwich easily at home. Within 24 hours sandwiches should be used. Sandwiches are the most popular with teenagers, youngsters for small parties like tea parties, barbecues parties, and fishing trips. Sandwiches are portable food items also.
